Phil Long Ford of Motor City Gives Back to the Pikes Peak Region

For 77 years, Phil Long Ford of Motor City has been a cornerstone of the Colorado Springs community. Customers trust us to provide the best quality vehicles and red-carpet customer service, but Phil Long Ford of Motor City is also known for extensive community investment and partnerships that enrich the Pikes Peak Region where our customers and employees live and work.

Since Mark Barton moved to Colorado Springs in 2008 to become General Manager, Phil Long Ford of Motor City has generously given hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofits in the Pikes Peak region with a focus on nonprofits that serve our military and improve the lives of animals throughout Southern Colorado.

Serving Our Veterans

Phil Long Ford of Motor City has a proud legacy of military service. Phil Long was a Navy veteran and Jay Cimino also served in the Marines. We are proud to support our local military community through donations to the Mt. Carmel Veteran's Service Center. Mt. Carmel is dedicated to helping military, veterans, and their families through various programs, including health and wellness services, transition and employment assistance, and non-clinical case management, which provides for the basic needs such as food and financial assistance. 

 

Protecting Our Animals

Mark has always loved animals and the community quickly came to love Cruz, the #1 sales dog. Maverick,our newest top gun,is also a crowd favorite at the dealership. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region holds a special place in our hearts as it has done so much for vulnerable animals in our area. Through donor support, the Humane Society rescues animals in the Pikes Peak region, and provides the community with affordable veterinary services, animal licensing, lost animal protection, and behavioral help to keep animals safe and healthy.
