The 2023 Ford Bronco has measurements of 174-189″ L x 76-79″ W x 72-75″ H. It can also be outfitted with 16-, 17- or 18-inch wheels. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport has measurements of 173″ L x 74″ W x 70-71″ H. It can also be outfitted with 17- or 18-inch wheels. The 2023 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport both contain two rows. In either SUV, you have space for five people. However, the Ford Bronco can be equipped with two- and four-door designs.

Infotainment & Features

The 2023 Ford Bronco has a standard Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker sound system, four USB ports, HD Radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, plus an 8" touch screen. In comparison, the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport comes with an 8" touch screen, USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system and voice recognition.

Cargo Capacity

The 2023 Ford Bronco with the two-door design offers 22.4 and 52.3 cubic feet for your cargo. Choosing the four-door SUV with a hardtop changes the numbers to 35.6 and 77.6 cubic feet. Additionally, a soft top model offers 38.3 and 83 cubic feet. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is rated for 32.5 and 65.2 cubic feet.

Drivetrain & Suspension

Both the 2023 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport come standard with all-wheel drive. Plus, you can choose a variety of trim levels equipped with off-road equipment for even more adventures.

Engine

The 2023 Ford Bronco has a 2.3L four-cylinder engine that outputs 300 horsepower. Otherwise, choose the 330-horsepower twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine. These engines offer a seven-speed manual or ten-speed automatic. If you select the Bronco Raptor, it's rated for 418 horsepower with the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 and ten-speed automatic. With the 2023 Bronco Sport, you get a 181-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder or a 245-horsepower turbo-four. These engines pair with an eight-speed automatic.

The 2023 Ford Bronco SUV is rated for 20/22 mpg when using the base engine or 19/20 mpg if you choose the V6. With the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, expect to receive 25/28 or 21/26 mpg.

Towing Capacity

The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport has a lower towing capacity of up to 2,200 pounds. On the other hand, the 2023 Ford Bronco has a maximum tow rating of 3,500 pounds unless you choose the Raptor, which is rated at 4,500 pounds.

 

Safety Features

The 2023 Ford Bronco includes a standard rearview camera, forward automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, and pedestrian detection. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport comes with forward collision warning, the MyKey system, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, and a rearview camera.

The 2023 Ford Bronco received Good ratings from the IIHS. Also, Car and Driver says, "The Ford Bronco can scratch almost anyone's itch for a cool-looking SUV with mega off-road capability without sacrificing good paved-road behavior in the process." What's not surprising is the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport also earned Good safety ratings from the IIHS, plus Car and Driver says, "The 2023 Bronco Sport offers reasonable off-road capability in a practical, maneuverable package that looks the part."
