Interior Design & Seating

The new Ford Mustang is a two-door sports car. This leaves four seats inside for occupants, with both the coupe and convertible configuration.

Engine 

The 2024 Ford Mustang has several powertrain configurations. You can opt for the 315-horsepower EcoBoost turbo-four. There's also a 480-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 (GT) or 500-horsepower variant (Dark Horse) available.

Transmission 

The 2024 Ford Mustang comes standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission. With the V8 engines, a six-speed manual can be chosen instead.

Drivetrain & Suspension

All 2024 Ford Mustang models include rear-wheel drive. There's no option for all-wheel drive at this time. Some available performance packages add optional equipment such as paddle shifters, heavy-duty front springs, Brembo brakes, a limited-slip rear differential, an adaptive suspension, and an electronic drift brake lever.

Performance & MPG

The 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost earns 21 to 22 mpg with the city ratings and 29 to 33 mpg when hitting the highway. V8 models drop slightly, with city ratings of 14 to 15 mpg and highway ratings at 22 to 24 mpg.

Infotainment

The 2024 Ford Mustang comes standard with a 13.2" touchscreen display, a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a USB port. It also comes with a 12.4" digital gauge cluster and automatic climate control.

Safety Features

The 2024 Ford Mustang comes standard with a rearview camera, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Optional features include adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition.

The 2024 Ford Mustang is a fast car, no matter which way it's equipped. The EcoBoost models hit 60 mph in about five seconds, while the GT and Dark Horse should accomplish the same in about four seconds.
