Performance and Capability

Under the hood, the 2022 Hyundai Kona Limited features a responsive Lambda II 1.6L I-4 direct injection engine equipped with variable valve control and an intercooled turbocharger. Generating 195HP, this efficient powertrain is paired with a smooth 7-speed EcoShift DCT auto-shift manual automatic transmission that optimizes power delivery across all speeds. Equipped with automatic full-time All Wheel Drive, the vehicle continuously monitors traction conditions to seamlessly transfer power where it is needed most. Driver Selectable Drive Modes allow you to tailor throttle response and steering feel to your preference, while the independent front strut suspension and multi-link rear suspension absorb road imperfections for a tranquil cabin atmosphere. In addition to its dynamic performance, this setup yields an efficient EPA-estimated 27 city and 32 highway MPG, proving that all-weather capability does not require sacrificing fuel efficiency.

Advanced Technology and Comfort

Inside the cabin, the Kona Limited offers a rich blend of premium materials and cutting-edge tech. Passengers are greeted by black leather seat upholstery, featuring heated front bucket seats and an 8-way power adjustable driver seat with 2-way power lumbar support. A first-row power sliding and tilting glass sunroof fills the interior with natural light, while automatic temperature control maintains ideal cabin conditions year-round. Tech highlights include a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster display paired with a 10.2-inch touchscreen primary display with integrated navigation. Audiophiles will appreciate the Harman Kardon Premium Audio System featuring 8 speakers, a 315W amplifier, and Clari-Fi digital signal processing for pristine sound quality.
